QUILL Token Economics

Overview

INK Finance empowers specialized DAOs to issue, risk-manage, and clear bespoke financial products. It is these specific DAOs who stand as credit mediators in financial transactions—the essence of virtual cross-chain interactions. Ink Finance functions as a utility for credit discovery – the establishment of the creditworthiness and reputation of DAOs.

QUILL is the platform token for Ink Finance.

Fee Utility

QUILL Tokens are foremost designed to be a utility to capture fees charged for using the INK facilities. Such fees are paid by DAOs who issue, settle, and clear financial products. The fees are extracted from the raised and redeemed proceeds of the said financial products’ currencies (e.g. ETH or USDC). They are then swapped for the QUILL Tokens in circulation. The swapped-in QUILL Tokens are then deposited into QUILL’s main staking emission pool to support future staking (see below). This mechanism monetizes the QUILL Token from the liquidities generated by the INK facilities.
