# Configure Committees

Only the Board members can initiate the Committee setup and configuration.

Shortcut: left panel <mark style="color:green;">**For Manager -> Committees**</mark>.&#x20;

All configurations covered by this shortcut are treated as DAO-level proposals. Once submitted by a Board member, they must go through the voting process, and once they are voted into Resolutions, the execution will be done by smart contracts on-chain, ensuring all the rules are enforced.
